This Privacy Policy explains how UpLeads (“UpLeads,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the UpLeads application and website (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image as permitted by your Google account. We use these to create and operate your account.
• Upwork data. When you connect your Upwork account, you authorize us to access data through Upwork’s API on your behalf — including job postings, client information, your talent profile, and messages relevant to features you use. We access this data only to provide the Service.
• Content you provide. Documents you upload (such as resumes or portfolios), proposals, messages, keywords, and other inputs you submit to the Service.
• Billing information. For paid plans, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We receive transaction status and subscription details, but we do not store full card or banking details on our servers.
• Usage and technical data. Basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and activity within the Service, used for security and to operate and improve the product.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To generate proposals, score jobs, draft replies, and run the other AI-assisted features you choose to use.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, and important changes to the Service.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

3. AI processing

Some features send your inputs — such as job descriptions, your profile details, and your instructions — to third-party AI model providers to generate results. We send only what is needed to produce the requested output. We do not use your data to train our own models. Your inputs are subject to the relevant AI provider’s data-handling terms.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, payment processing, email delivery, file storage, and AI model providers), bound to handle data on our behalf.
• Upwork, as required to make API requests you have authorized.
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• A successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can disconnect your Upwork account at any time from within the Service. To make a request, contact us at support@upleads.app.

8. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. By using the Service you consent to this processing.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in the app.
